"Chase It" - celebration event

To celebrate four years of "Chase It" activities for the District's young people, Cannock Chase Council held its very own celebration event, where key partners and young people were invited to take part in a range of activities and discussions.

“Chase It” is a young persons activity programme run by Cannock Chase Council, which was sport and active recreation to engage young people with access issues to take part in physical activities.

The programme is supported by the Children’s Fund and aims to enhance social skills and personal development, whilst delivering a healthy lifestyles message.

For its innovation and impact on the lives of young people in the local community, it recently received the Staffordshire nomination for the BBC Midlands Sports Awards 2007 – Power of Sport Award.
