As always we do advise that as some sports have more stringent First Aid requirements for Clubmark and coaching purposes, all delegates should check with their NGB before enrolling on these workshops in order to avoid disappointment after the event.

Please be advised that in cases of cancellations, a 5 working day notice period is required. Delegates can opt to change to another workshop or alternatively send another representative.

If you find that you cannot attend the workshops we have planned, contact Kam and she may be able to help you find alternatives.

Staff Changes

Jane Kracke awaits....

SASSOT’s Sports Manager, Jane Kracke, has started her maternity leave as she and husband Jem await the birth of their first child.

Jane's final day saw her toddle off to her car, laden down with gifts and cards from well-wishing colleagues before beginning a well-earned rest.......... until Baby arrives that is.

Partnership Director, Mark Thornewill thanked Jane for all her hard work especially in the recent work with the Sport Unlimited programme and wished Jane all the best for her new family.

Ben Hollands

In Jane's absence, Ben Hollands has taken over the reigns as Acting Sports Manager to ensure the continuation of NGB network and support work.

Andy King

Andy joins us, in a temporary capacity, as Acting Workforce Development Officer to take over Ben Hollands role while he is covering for Jane.

Andy spent 19 years as an office / systems manager working for the Ministry of Defence in Army Recruiting at Whittington Barracks, Lichfield. He managed a support team and was also a liaison officer travelling to and advising Army Careers Staff across the UK. He then moved to a local consultancy firm specialising in Process Improvement and was there for 4 years before moving to SASSOT.

Andy's background is in office management, training, project management and process improvement.
