"Nutz about Football"

 

 

Set up some 12 months ago, Nutz about Football is a project run in partnership with Cannock Council's Street Wardens and the Sports Development Team.  Aimed at young people (13-18 years) these sessions provide an ideal opportunity to enjoy a game of football on an informal drop in basis.

 

 

"Nutz about Football" sessions run on a Monday evening (6.00 – 7.00) at Rugeley Leisure Centre’s outdoor ATP, under the guidance of the Council’s Community Sports Coach.

 

Some 25-35 young people regularly attend, many of whom are referred on to the scheme by the Council’s Street Wardens, who see it as an ideal opportunity for young people to channel their energy into a fun and enjoyable activity within a safe environment.
