Staffordshire FA Girls' Coaching Centre

 

The Staffordshire FA have introduced a new opportunity for young female footballers. The Coaching Centre will support the development of female players aged 5-12 years old and encourage girls to join a local girls' football club.

 

The Coaching Centre will be start in January 2009 and is being organised in partnership between the Staffordshire Football Association and Newcastle Borough Council.

 

The Coaching Centre is open to girls aged 5-12 years old and will provide the opportunity for girls to have a fun, positive football experience where they can learn the basics of football, develop their skills and participate in a safe, structured environment for learning.

 

The sessions will be held weekly on a Saturday morning, 11am – 12.30pm at Roe Lane playing fields in Newcastle under Lyme with all girls attending receiving specialised coaching from FA qualified coaching staff.
