Girls Active Regional Day

 

As a designated regional hub, Stafford and Stone School Sport Partnership held a Girls Active Day on 21st October where almost 200 girls came from schools across the Midlands to Stafford Sports College.

 

Invitations were sent to all Midlands schools but places were limited and quickly filled up a week before the closing date. This popular event has been held twice a year since 2008.   

 

Girls took part in many activities, including Extreme Tennis in Stafford Sports College’s brand new £1 million Baseline Tennis Centre, sessions involved Cardio, Freestyle and RED tennis. Other activities included Tri-golf, Dance Mats and Girls Active Challenge where girls focused on their new schools challenge for the year.
