Swimming launches a new on-line system for education and training
The Institute Of Swimming (IoS) have introduced a new web-based system for candidates, tutors and employers to access information about education and training from the IoS.
It’s an exciting development in aquatic learning with the facility for instant booking of courses and secure credit card payment, making life so much easier for our candidates. Learners will also benefit from their own personalised site ‘My IoS’ with access to tailored resources and content to help them on their individual learning pathway.
Tutors will be able to access relevant up-to-date information on their courses, meaning less administration time for our staff.
In addition, the site will quickly become an essential point of contact for our valued employer base as they make block bookings and recognise the site as being a ‘one-stop shop’ for all the tools and resources for educating their workforce.
The functionality will be continually developed to include quick and simple access to online learning tools, training courses and CPD seminars, making learning with the IoS more flexible and accessible than ever before.
Geographical locations for the Aquatic Officers and regional lead work areas are as follows:
Jennifer Powell will cover Coventry, Solihull & Warwickshire and will lead on Marketing and Disciplines.
Jodi Adams will cover Staffordshire & Stoke on Trent and also Shropshire (apart from Telford & Wrekin). Her lead work area will be Club Development including Swim21.
Mandy Mason will cover Herefordshire & Worcestershire and Telford & Wrekin. Her lead work area will be Learn to Swim and School Swimming.
Sarah Price will cover the Black Country and her lead work area will be Health and Participation including Swimfit.
