Staffordshire FA female coach mentoring programme
As part of Staffordshire FA’s commitment to the development of female coaches in the County, we have been working to construct a suitable and sustainable coach development programme to support female coaches to achieve their goals and realise their potential to become established, recognised football coaches in the County.
After consultation with a number of female coaches in the County, the Staffordshire FA are now ready to launch the County’s first official Female Coach Mentoring Programme.
The main focus of the mentoring programme will be to support a group of currently qualified FA Level 1 coaches to work towards and achieve their FA Level 2 award. The programme will provide a number of female coaches with development workshops and mentor support to help guide the coaches through the process of completing the FA Level 2.
The opportunity to gain a place as part of the mentoring programme is now open to any female coaches who have completed the FA Level 1. Places for the mentoring programme have been set to a limit to ensure the quality of the programme and ensure those coaches attending will have the best experience possible.
All interested coaches are asked to complete the relevant nomination form and return it by no later than Friday 21st November 2008. All successful coaches will then be provided with further information with regards to the programme.
