Stafford School compete in National
Tillington Manor Primary School scored the highest points total in the Country for the National Tri Golf Competition and then competed against 12 other schools throughout the UK to finish 4th overall.
19 First and Primary Schools from Stafford and Stone took part in several Tri Golf festivals hosted at Middle and High School venues, organised by the Stafford and Stone School Sport Partnership.
Over 80 Leaders from high schools across the Partnership were trained to help organise and make these festivals fun and challenging.
Tillington Manor Primary then took part in the National Final held at Loughborough to coincide with the “Ryder Cup”
The pupils worked extremely hard throughout the event and finished 4th overall, competing against schools from Scotland, Wales and as far south as Bournemouth.

Partnership Games start with alternative
Year ten and eleven pupils take part in three alternative fun games aimed at participation and increase more young people to keep active.
Schools from King Edward VI, Blessed William Howard, Stafford Sports College and Walton High took part in three alternative games for pupils from year ten and eleven.
Boys and girls had the opportunity to take part in Ultimate Frisbee, Crazy Catch and Basketball played with a non – competitive view to encourage more pupils to take part in alternative fun games.
King Edward VI High School hosted the event with leaders setting up, officiating and coaching.
Schools will have the opportunity to host the event and encourage more leaders to run and assist with this new event.
Further events are planned over the academic year with year seven, eight and nine taking part in the New Year.
