Trampolining For All
Cannock Chase District Council Sport, Active Recreation and Community Development Team have worked with a number of key partners, to establish an all-inclusive Trampolining Coaching Programme at both their Chase and Rugeley Leisure Centres.
External funding was secured from both Walbrook Housing and the Community Learning Partnership. This has been used to:-
Purchase 3 trampolines
Set up a staff training session
Develop new Coaches
Provide free places on mainstream Coaching Programmes for young people with access issues
Working in partnership with the Districts two Special Schools, part of the package has allowed these schools to access the Chase Leisure Centre free of charge, where they have set up their own re-bound therapy sessions.
The Development Team Community Recreation Officer, Deborah Pearce has worked closely with G-Force Trampolining, ensuring a Fully Inclusive Sports Activity for all the District's Young People.
