Stafford & District YLC Netball League affiliate to England Netball for 2010/11 season

 

Stafford & District YLC Netball League have affiliated to England Netball in its 36th year.

Are you looking to play netball? Have you not played for a while but wish to get back to playing? Do you want to be part of a team and keep fit?

 

Stafford & District YLC Netball League celebrated its 36th birthday this year!

 

For many years the league has run outside of the England Netball guidance however, as a fresh start the league has re-vamped its format to one hour matches from the traditional 30 minutes previously played.

There are 19 teams playing in 2 divisions, on Tuesday and Wednesday nights at King Edward VI High School and Blessed William Howard High School (both Stafford).

 

The league also plan to deliver an umpiring course to develop the skills of the umpires and the standard of the league. This will be funded through Sport Across Staffordshire's Coach Scholarship fund and England Netball. If you are interested in becoming an umpire and would like to umpire in the league please contact the league committee details below.
