Staffordshire FA
The Staffordshire FA are committed to developing the game at all levels.
In line with The Football Association's Whole Sport Plan, the County FA has produced a four-year plan aimed at providing everyone with the opportunity to participate in football for life. The plan allows parents, managers, teachers and coaches the opportunity to enhance their knowledge and gain qualifications.
We are keen to develop partnerships to promote the benefits of football and improve the facilities where football is played. Working with key partners we hope to access essential funding which can be invested to increase the quantity and quality of pitches and facilities providing more and better playing opportunities.
To meet the demands of implementing the plan the Football Development team includes a County Development Manager, two Football Development Officer, a Girls' and Women's Officer, a Girls' Community Coach, a Disability Community Coach, four FA Skills Coaches, as well as administrative support.

Staffordshire FA Football Development
The vision of the Football Development team in Staffordshire is simply to 'Create better opportunities for all to participate in football'.
The Staffordshire FA Football Development Plan is focused upon 'Start, Stay and Succeed' and the core business of the Football Development Team focuses upon the following key outcomes: increasing participation, improving levels of performance, and widening access to football. This is achieved through three key areas of work; Club Development, Education Development and the Football Workforce.
We endeavour to ensure that all young people have the opportunity to participate in high quality football activity by developing a countywide network of Charter Standard clubs. We are currently working with an increasing number of partners to increase delivery capacity within the communities of Staffordshire.
Despite this joined up thinking and partnership working, football continues to rely upon the immeasurable contribution from clubs and volunteers. If you want to get involved in football in any capacity, or require any support, we invite you to get in contact with us.
