British Tennis is moving forward at a rapid pace with Andy Murray high up in the world rankings. His brother Jamie has also become our first Wimbledon champion for 20 years by lifting the Mixed Doubles title with the Serbian Jelena Jankovic at the All England LTC in 2007.
We've set a vision of 'winning' for our great sport and to achieve this we'll focus on three main drivers:
1) Getting the best coaches working with the best talent in the best facilities
2) Providing the best technical and sports science support and advice in the most accessible way, to the right people when they need it
3) Establishing a straightforward, high-quality competitive framework that gives juniors the stimulus they need to get on, and stay on, the winning pathway.
How effectively we focus on these drivers will be measured in three ways:
1) Number of playeers in the top 100 of the world rankings
2) Number of players aged 12-18 on track to be in the top 100
3) Number of juniors regularly competing (playing in six or more matches each year).
