Stoke-on-Trent Sport and Physical Activity Partnership
In line with Sport England's Community Sports Network initiative Stoke on Trent is now forming a NEW Sport and Physical Activity Partnership. Stoke-on-Trent City Council, as the lead agent for developing the partnership has already secured a number of key stakeholders for the initiative. So far the City has signed up the Local Strategic Partnership, Stoke Primary Care Trust, the two City School Sports Partnerships and a number of local sports club. The objective for the partnership is to significantly drive up participation in sport and physical activity across the City linking very closely with the Floor Target Action Plans for Stoke-on-Trent, the City's new Sport and Physical Activity Strategy (2008-2016) and other major intitiatives such as the Stoke Sports Summit.
