The new delivery system for sport in England is also known as the 'single system'. This has been devised from extensive cross sector consultation over the last six years to simplify and reform the current complex delivery structures in sport.

This delivery system has been designed to be a 'demand led' supply chain. The above diagram depicts how the people taking part and the people delivering sport and active recreation can communicate their needs to the policy makes and investors.
For the first time in sport the delivery system clarifies the position and roles that different organisations and agencies play in delivering opportunities in sport and active recreation.
